Careena Melia, Artistic Director/ Producer - Irish born actress and Acton native, Careena has over twenty years of experience in film, television and theatre. Patrick Toon (Oberon/ Theseus) has performed in New York City with the Pearl Theatre Company, the NYC Fringe Festival, and Island Shakespeare with regional appearances at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, the Depot Theatre, and the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Favorite roles include the Ghost in Hamlet, Barnardine in Measure for Measure, and Ray in Richard the Third and Goal, a mash-up of Shakespeare and the inspirational speeches of Ray Lewis. Last year, Patrick had the honor of performing ReEntry, a play about deployment-related issues, for active service members as part of the Navy's PTSD-resiliency program in Virginia and California. An avid runner, Patrick has run the Boston Marathon three times to raise money for disabled people in Boston and beyond.
Ingrid Werner ( Titania / Hippolyta) is thrilled and honoured to be a part of Walden Shakespeare’s first production, and to enter the magical forest of love, confusion, and fairies. Fresh out of the American Repertory Theater institute at Harvard/Moscow Art Theatre School with her MFA in hand, she’s ready to take on the world. During her time in Moscow, she had the wonderful opportunity of playing Nastasya in Dostoyevsky’s The Idiot. At ART she played the lead in the world premiere of Kim Rosenstock’s BrideWidowHag, Emilia in Paula Vogel’s Desdemona, and understudying Eve Ensler’s O.P.C. Originally from Norway, Ingrid has found a home in the states and is excited to take on the nomad lifestyle, starting with New York. She would like to thank her parents who have always been her biggest fans and supporters, and her wonderful friends, old and new, who’ve been such bases of inspiration, love, and support.
Benjamin Thys ( Demetrius ) originally from Belgium, recently played "Malcolm" and "The Porter" in Punchdrunk's SLEEP NO MORE. After receiving his M.F.A. from The New School for Drama, he joined the cast of the Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park, where he appeared in MEASURE FOR MEASURE and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL. At The Public, he also workshopped CHINGLISH by David Henry Hwang and UNEXPLORED INTERIOR by Jay O.Sanders. Television work includes FOREVER (ABC), TAXI BROOKLYN (NBC), HBO's HIGH MAINTENANCE, USA series ROYAL PAINS and Vimeo's HUNTING SEASON. He will next be seen in the independent feature FRONT COVER, which premiered last June at the Seattle International Film Festival, and the currently untitled Aziz Ansari project on Netflix. In addition to The New School, he is a graduate of The University of London (SOAS) & Beijing University.
Milia Ayache ( Hermia ) is a Beirut-based actor and writer who has performed on the Moscow, Minneapolis, Berlin, Stavanger, Providence, Beirut, New York, and Los Angeles stage. She is member of Masrah Ensemble and sits on the board of Ayyam Beirut Al Cinema'iya Arab Film Festival. Milia teaches creative writing at The American University of Beirut and holds an MFA from The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theatre Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University.
Jeffery Lyon ( Snug / Mustardseed )received Ballet lessons and a motorcycle at the age of 6. He graduated high-school from Interlochen School of Arts, and received a BFA from SUNY Purchase. He has been performing dance in theaters, parking garages, graveyards, on escalators, in civil war forts, and on buildings for over a decade. He has recently performed the role of Soren in The Seagul, and General Macarthur in Then There Were None. He was an original cast member of Punch Drunk's Sleep No More, and is a current member of the Brooklyn based immersive theater sensation Third Rail Projects.
Rebecca Odorisio ( Helena ) is an actress and singer based in New York. She holds a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and RADA in London. Favorite credits include Ophelia in Hamlet (Kraine Theater), Isabella in Measure for Measure (Island Shakespeare), and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (Robert Moss Theater). Her first real acting experience was being in Midsummer during high school, playing a fairy who was covered head-to-toe in gold glitter.
Sai Somboon ( Snout, Cobweb ) grew up in Thailand, Saudi Arabia and has lived all over the United States. He is a dancer, actor, choreographer and teacher. He has a BA from Franklin & Marshall College, and an MFA from The Ohio State University. As a teacher and choreographer, he has conducted guest artist workshops at high schools and universities around the world. His professional performance credits include: Sleep No More NYC: Punchdrunk, Sunfish - A New Musical: Daegu Opera House in South Korea, The ABC's Guide to Getting Famous: FringeNYC/C.O.W. Brandon Harris ( Lysander ) ...And run through fire he would for thy sweet sake! Brandon Tyler Harris is an NYC based actor who has appeared on stage, television, voiceover, and film. He just wrapped playing the lead in the film Paladin in which he got to sword fight, blast magic, and defeat an evil wizard! When not acting, you'll find Brandon having fun skateboarding, building things, or playing make believe around a table with friends and dice.
